Tabletop Growth

#About Me

Role-playing games have always been a sandbox to explore the human condition in much the same way as acting or writing, but without all the overhead of theatre and more social than writing.

So I built a really nice sandbox for others to learn and discover.

Personally, I was introduced to Tabletop Role-Playing Games (TTRPGs) in the form of the ubiquitous Dungeons & Dragons during a summer camp in junior high. I loved how gaming allowed a group of people to work together to solve problems, battle evil, and above all: tell stories.

But where my friends all liked the fantasy worlds of D&D, I preferred science-fiction.

Yup. Even among nerds, I was a bit of an outcast.

I’ve played in hundreds of games and dozens of systems. I’ve played characters very much like myself and others entirely unlike me. No matter which, gaming provided an opportunity to explore aspects of my character that I didn’t want - or know how - to exhibit in the real world.

I invite you to join me as we explore new worlds and new roles while discovering new ways to embody your values and strengths along the journey.
